Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Tottenham Hotspur will win against Bournemouth this weekend.
Tottenham will take on the Cherries away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and former Liverpool star Owen expects them to pick up all three points.
“The Cherries have found the back of the net in their last seven PL games but I expect Spurs to have too much for Eddie Howe’s side who have had more than their share of injuries,” the former England international wrote on Betvictor.com.
“Spurs were in Europa League action on Thursday night in Belgium but they have a big squad to choose from and they are a confident selection to take all three points back to the capital.”
Could Michael Owen’s prediction come true?
Tottenham will head into the game against Bournemouth as favourites, but the Cherries’ chances cannot be written off just yet.
Eddie Howe’s side will be determined to pick up all three points in front of their own fans, and they will certainly make it tough for Spurs.
The North London outfit have injury concerns of their own, and they should not become complacent against a team who play wonderful, attacking football.
Bournemouth’s survival hopes rest on the number of points they will pick up at home, and they will be going all out for the win.
