Wolverhampton Wanderers lost 2-0 to Brentford yesterday evening.
Wolves slipped to a 2-0 defeat at home to Brentford last night, and their performance throughout the contest was far from their best.
Jackett feels that this was largely because his team didn't press Brentford well enough, with his frustration particularly directed at the side's forward players.
"I felt we were poor," he admitted. "We didn't do enough. We didn't close and press the ball well enough, particularly from the front, and we have to address that."
Brentford are a side who are comfortable in possession, and Wolves gave them far too much time on the ball throughout the contest.
The Bees simply picked their way through the Wolves' defence, and they were good value for their comfortable victory.
It leaves Jackett with a lot of work to do, as Wolves have struggled to keep goals out throughout the campaign so far.
The Midlands outfit have conceded 17 times to date this term, and they are currently in 12th position in the Championship table.
