Wolverhampton Wanderers-owned goalkeeper Aaron McCarey has taken to social networking site Twitter to wish Portsmouth the best of luck for the rest of the season.
McCarey is returning to his parent club Wolves after spending the past four weeks or so on an emergency loan at Portsmouth.
The 23-year-old joined the League Two outfit due to injuries to goalkeepers Paul Jones and Brian Murphy.
Portsmouth are second in the League Two table at the moment with 27 points from 14 matches, just two points behind leaders Plymouth.
Paul Cook’s side are playing well at the moment, and they are very much in the running for automatic promotion to League One at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Wolves find themselves 12th in the Championship table at the moment with just 15 points from 12 matches.
Kenny Jackett’s side are currently five points above the relegation zone and six points behind sixth-place Middlesbrough.
