Sheffield Wednesday fans fume at Queens Park Rangers boss Chris Ramsey on Twitter following his post-match comments

Sheffield Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers played out a 0-0 draw at Loftus Road on Tuesday evening.

Sheffield Wednesday fans have reacted angrily on Twitter after Queens Park Rangers manager Chris Ramsey defended referee Andy Haines' performance on Tuesday night.

Haines was under the spotlight during Wednesday's 0-0 draw with QPR after making two controversial decisions.

Firstly, Haines refused to give a foul when a robust Clint Hill tackle forced Modou Sougou to be stretchered off through injury.

And then, the official aggravated Owls fans further when he turned down what looked to be a strong penalty claim, when Lucas Joao was upended in the area.

After the match, Ramsey commented in the Daily Mail, crediting Haines' performance and saying that he got both decisions correct, but Wednesday fans have been left furious with his statement.

Owls supporters are adamant that their side were hard done by at Loftus Road, and felt that Haines offered them little protection throughout the fixture.

Here is the best reaction to Ramsey's comments on social media site Twitter from Wednesday fans.
