The former Chelsea youngster is the younger brother of Eden Hazard.
The Belgian attacking midfielder is a former Chelsea player himself but after impressing on loan at Zulte Waregem in his homeland he ended up heading to Borussia Monchengladbach, initially on loan, and then on a permanent basis.
The player is in action this evening as Gladbach travel to Italy to take on Juventus in the Champions League and according to Voetbal Krankt the Premier League club will be sending scouts to the match to run the rule over the former Chelsea talent.
Hazard is a very talented attacker who can play either on the wing or through the middle. During his time on loan at Zulte Waregem he nearly led the unfancied side to a Belgian Pro League title and also picked up his one and only international cap for Belgium.
However, Tottenham may end up disappointed. Hazard is by no means a definite starter for the German side and is not assured of featuring in Turin this evening - it might be a wasted trip.
Chelsea have a buy-back clause in Hazard's contract at Gladbach and if Tottenham were to make a move they would likely prompt Chelsea into action.
