Rangers made hard work of their Petrofac Training Cup clash with Livingston, edging a 1-0 victory.
Nicky Clark scored Rangers' goal, but it was teammate Barrie McKay who took the plaudits with a man of the match display.
McKay is a player clearly benefiting from the tutelage of manager Mark Warburton, with his improvement this season evident for all to see.
At just 20-years-old he is showing promising signs of a player who could develop into a Scottish international, and flourish in the Scottish Premiership.
McKay has a contract at Rangers until 2017, and has played a big part early this season. In 16 games in all competitions he has scored three times and provided seven assists.
Last season he was loaned out to Raith Rovers where he made 25 appearances, and it says everything about his rise this time around that they would not considering sending him out again for even a minute.
The contest was attended by a crowd of 17,000 at Ibrox, with Rangers now into the semi-finals of the cup where they will face St Mirren.
Here is a look at how supporters reacted to McKay's display...
