The Celtic teenager could get another chance to impress in Europe this week.
Celtic teenager Kieran Tierney has been photographed at Glasgow airport as he prepares to travel with the senior side to take on Molde in the Europa League later this week.
The 18-year-old left-back played 82 minutes against Fenerbahce recently and it looks like he could be rewarded with another start on Thursday.
Celtic are currently second in Group A having drawn with both the Turkish side and Ajax so far but they have an unexpected challenge this week facing the surprise leaders of the group Molde.
Celtic boss Ronny Deila will know them well from his time managing in Norway and he will not be taking anything for granted, certainly not after the side now managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took four points from a possible six despite their recent domestic struggles.
Tierney has five appearances in total for Celtic’s first-team and such is his development and innate talent that he could add plenty more to that over the rest of the season.
From there, expect the young defender to become an integral part of Celtic’s squad for years to come.
