Tottenham take on Anderlecht in the Europa League on Thursday.
Spurs face Belgian giants Anderlecht on Thursday, and Dennis Praet has told Eurosport that he expects the North London club to be a strong opponent, with Harry Kane the exceptional talent that leads the side.
The 2014/15 Belgian Golden Boot winner said: “If you have seen last year, Harry Kane was very impressive. He was extraordinary and he can score whenever and from any position. They are a complete team and are very good defensively.”
Spurs are looking pick up their second Europa League win of the season, with a victory over Anderlecht likely to be key in what is a very tough group.
The Lilywhites head into the tie on the back of a good run of form, with just two defeats in all competitions this season. They are still undefeated in Europe, and Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to extend that record on Thursday.
However, they will be coming up against a strong opponent in Anderlecht, who, although they are on a poor run of form, possess some truly talented players.
The likes of Praet, Youri Tielemans and Stefano Okaka are all top class players, who, on their day, can do much damage to an opposition team, but Praet is well aware that Spurs have their own ‘extraordinary’ star.
Harry Kane has not yet reached his incredible heights from last season, but his work rate has few doubting that the 22-year-old will return to his best before too long - with luck the only thing going against him right now.
And what better time for Kane to start scoring again on Thursday, as Spurs look to pick up another win in the Europa League.
