Confirmed: Manchester City and Sevilla line-ups

City Of Manchester Stadium

Here is how Manchester City and Sevilla will line up for this evening’s match:

Manchester City welcome Spanish side Sevilla to the Etihad Stadium tonight for their third match of the Champions League group stage.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side are currently third in Group D having lost to Juventus and overcome Borussia Monchengladbach, while Sevilla are above them only on goal-difference.

City may have half an eye on Sunday’s huge Premier League derby against Manchester United but they will know the importance of this clash and will be going all out for the victory.

City certainly have the players to claim all three points tonight, even with the likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva out injured, but Sevilla have a fine recent record in Europe having won the Europa League last season and they will be quietly confident of causing an upset.

After all, any side that can defeat the current Barcelona team – as Sevilla did recently – is one to take seriously, so Pellegrini will be using all his experience and knowledge of the Spanish game to inspire a victory here.
