Predicted Leeds line-up to play Fulham: Evans to make changes

Here is how we predict Leeds United and Fulham will line up this week:

To be played on Wednesday 21st October 2015 at 18:45. Venue: Craven Cottage, London

Odds: Fulham 11/10, Draw 12/5, Leeds 12/5

Leeds United’s new manager Steve Evans does not have to wait long to experience his first match in charge, with the Whites travelling to Craven Cottage this week to take on Fulham.

Leeds are currently 18th in the Championship with just two wins all season, but Fulham are only five places and two points better off and Evans will know he can inspire a much-needed victory from his new players.

In a recent interview with the club’s official website, Evans confirmed that he wants to play a 4-4-2 formation with two out-and-out front-men and two wingers whenever possible, and Leeds certainly have the players to make that work.

A number of new wide options have arrived at Elland Road this summer in the form of Will Buckley, Jordan Botaka and Stuart Dallas, while Leeds have two effective goal-scorers in Chris Wood and Mirco Antenucci.

The slight change of formation could also see Alex Mowatt benefit if he is given free rein to bomb on and support the front-men with Lewis Cook playing the holding role.

With all that in mind, below is the side we predict Evans will go with for his first match as Leeds boss:
