Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer heap praise on West Ham United

West Ham United are currently sitting in fourth position in the Premier League table.

Kevin Kilbane, Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker have all spoken highly of West Ham United on BBC's Match of the Day

The Hammers beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at the weekend, and in their analysis of that match, the trio of pundits raved about the manner in which Slaven Bilic's side are playing.

West Ham are the second-top scorers in the Premier League this season, and the Match of the Day crew have been suitably impressed by the London outfit's attacking talent.

"The two players who have ignited West Ham this season are Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini," Kilbane said.

And Shearer agreed with his fellow pundit, saying: "20 goals they've got this season, so that shows the way they're playing."

Lineker then rounded off the praise of the Hammers. He said: "West Ham are looking a really good side. Away from home they really are something else, aren't they? Counter-attack!"

West Ham's win over Palace lifted them up into fourth in the Premier League table, while stretching their unbeaten run away from home.

The Hammers have beaten the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool on their travels this season, and appear to be one of the most dangerous teams in England.

Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet have added a spark to their attack, while the likes of Diafra Sakho and Victor Moses have also shown themselves to be capable of posing a considerable threat.

West Ham's next game comes against Chelsea at the weekend, and another victory could lift them up as high as second in the top-flight standings.
