Confirmed: Arsenal v Bayern Munich line-ups: Strong team selected

Arsenal take on a formidable Bayern Munich side this evening.

Arsenal are attempting to give their Champions League campaign a much needed shot in the arm when they host Bayern Munich this evening.

The Gunners have lost their first two games of the season in Europe, defeated by Dinamo Zagreb and at home to Olympiakos.

Bayern have by contrast started the group stage in sensational form, winning their first two games with a goal difference of plus eight.

The Germans have knocked Arsenal out of the Champions League in the last 16 in two out of the last three seasons, although the North London side did record one surprise away win.

Arsenal are not eliminated with a loss tonight, but it will leave them needing a perfect record in order to qualify over their last three games - and a win at the Allianz Arena.

Since their loss to Olympiakos, Arsenal have bounced back, by beating Manchester United and Watford both by 3-0 scorelines.
