Aleksandar Mitrovic told Sky Sports' Super Sunday after Newcastle United's match against Norwich City that he feels St. James' Park is the perfect place for him.
Mitrovic joined Newcastle from Anderlecht during the summer transfer window, and he has made a wonderful first impression.
Although sometimes the striker has been over-zealous in his performances, he has still earned a lot of support due to his passion.
After he netted his first goal at Newcastle's home ground against Norwich on Sunday, the Serbian expressed his delight at playing on Tyneside.
When asked whether he felt Newcastle was the perfect club for him, Mitrovic said: "Yeah, yeah.
"It's the second time, I've got a standing ovation [after being substituted]. I'm very happy here. I've played eight games and I hope to play more and score more."
The 21-year-old is proving to be a huge threat to defences, due to his power, and he is playing a very important role for Newcastle.
Mitrovic will now be hoping to continue to impress, and if he can grab a goal against Sunderland on Sunday, then then he will only endear himself to the Magpies' fans even further.
