Slaven Bilic’s men have already recorded famous wins against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City this season and the 23-year old – on loan from Arsenal for the second successive season – is confident of another victory.
“We have got every chance of beating them,” he said, in quotes published by the LES.
“Coming off the Palace result we are going to be buzzing going into that game - It was a massive win for us. Chelsea have started the season poorly but they are a top team and with the players they have got they are going to turn things around.
“If we keep playing how we have been, I think we have got every chance,” he added.
The West Ham squad have every reason to feel confident against a stuttering Blues team, but the location of the clash could prove to be their biggest hurdle.
The Hammers’ best results this season have come away from home and their performances at the Boleyn have been far from convincing.
A comfortable win against an abject Newcastle side last month represents their sole victory at home, with the likes of Norwich, Leicester and Bournemouth all picking up points on their travels to London.
They will need a change of fortune if they are to get a result against a Chelsea team who finally got back to winning ways against Aston Villa on Saturday.
