Report: Leeds make contact with Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp

But surely a move wouldn't happen... or at the very least end in further disaster?

Leeds United have sounded out Harry Redknapp over replacing Uwe Rosler, according to the London Evening Standard.

Indeed, Steve Evans is said to be the favourite to succeed Rosler, sacked after 12 games, but the Yorkshire club have reportedly made contact with Redknapp as they consider a number of candidates.

Yet the Standard suggest the 68-year-old is unlikely to be persuaded by Leeds owner Massimo Cellino as he seeks a Premier League job.

Can you imagine 'Arry taking up the role, anyway?

Redknapp infamously found it difficult to work with Daniel Levy. How would he cope under Cellino?

What's more, the veteran Premier League boss has lost his touch as far as football goes. Redknapp was awful at Queens Park Rangers and has shown a distinct lack of knowledge since becoming a pundit. He is very much out of touch with the game.

That is all a moot point, however, as Evans is already taking Leeds training, allayed with the fact Redknapp will need heavy persuading.

And, if Redknapp somehow did end up taking the job, it would probably end up anything but 't'riffic'...
