Here is how we predict Arsenal and Bayern Munich will line up for this week’s match:
To be played on Tuesday 20th October 2015 at 18:45. Venue: Emirates Stadium,
Odds: Arsenal 11/4, Draw 11/4, Munich 10/11
Arsenal welcome German champions Bayern Munich to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening with the Gunners knowing a victory is a must.
Securing it, however, will be easier said than done against Pep Guardiola’s impressive side but Arsenal are in fine form having recorded back-to-back 3-0 victories either side of the international break.
Arsenal are currently bottom of Group F having already been defeated by Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos while Bayern have beaten both those sides to sit top of the table with a goal-difference of plus-eight already.
In early team news, Arsenal are without Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere while David Ospina and Gabriel Paulista are minor doubts but are both rated at 75 per cent to be available.
As for Bayern, they are without the injured Mario Gotze, Franck Ribery and Mehdi Benatia while Arjen Robben is a doubt.
With all that in mind, here is how we expect both sides to line up this week:
- Petr Čech
- Héctor Bellerín
- Laurent Koscielny
- Nacho Monreal
- Gabriel Paulista
- Santi Cazorla
- Francis Coquelin
- Aaron Ramsey
- Mesut Özil
- Alexis Sánchez
- Theo Walcott
- Manuel Neuer
- David Alaba
- Juan Bernat
- Jérôme Boateng
- Philipp Lahm
- Thiago Alcântara
- Douglas Costa
- Joshua Kimmich
- Arturo Vidal
- Robert Lewandowski
- Thomas Müller
