Tottenham and Liverpool played out a 0-0 draw at the weekend, but Le Tissier feels that the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as their new manager will give them an advantage over Spurs.
"I would imagine Liverpool [will finish ahead of Spurs], if Klopp gets a bit of luck with injuries," he said. "I think that the feel-good factor at Liverpool might just carry them through. I think they will come out on top, just because of that fact."
As things stand Liverpool are one point behind Spurs, with Klopp's team currently in 10th place in the Premier League table.
Catching Spurs does not appear to be an easy task either, as Mauricio Pochettino's side have been in good form so far this season.
Tottenham are unbeaten in their last eight matches, and if they continue to be so difficult to beat, then they should have a very productive campaign.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have plenty to improve on under Klopp's guidance, but they still have lots to play for this season.
The Reds may need to tighten up defensively, but they have a lot of quality in their forward ranks, and they are only four points away from the Champions League qualification spots, as things stand.
Liverpool's next league match comes against Southampton, while Spurs take on Bournemouth at the weekend.
