Newcastle's Georginio Wijnaldum stole the show against Norwich City.
The Magpies had endured a torrid start to the season under new manager Steve McClaren, but they finally gave their fans something to shout about against Norwich.
Four goals from Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum were the key for Newcastle, and strikers Ayoze Perez and Aleksandar Mitrovic also got on the scoresheet to hand McClaren a vital three points.
Unsurprisingly, all of the plaudits went to midfielder Wijnaldum. The summer signing from PSV Eindhoven arrived with a huge reputation having fired his side to the Eredivisie title last season, and there are still some who believe that Newcastle are lucky to have him, given his quality.
It wasn't just that Wijnaldum managed to score four goals, but the class and variety in those goals is what makes him such a superb player. His first was a calm drive in to the corner after being played in on goal, whilst his second and third goals were impressive headers - and his final goal was a long range strike which gave John Ruddy no chance in the Newcastle goal.
Been trying to avoid attempting to spell Wijnaldum but 4 goals kind of deserves a mention. He's been terrific.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) October 18, 2015
