Celtic fans react on Twitter to Stefan Scepovic's goals; message to Deila?

Celtic-owned Stefan Scepovic scored twice as Getafe beat Las Palmas 4-0.

Celtic striker Stefan Scepovic proved what he can do in front of goal on Sunday by scoring twice in Getafe's 2-0 win over Las Palmas.

The Serbian forward found himself out of favour under Ronny Deila, and chose to head back to Spain in order to play first-team football, just a year after joining Celtic from Sporting Gijon.

Now, the 25-year-old has shown his goalscoring ability by notching two late goals in Getafe's 4-0 win over Las Palmas, serving a reminder to Deila about what he can do.

Celtic are looking for a striker themselves having let Scepovic leave, and whilst Carlton Cole is on trial, the Bhoys have major problems in attack.

Unsurprisingly, Scepovic's exploits in La Liga have now triggered discussion over his future with Celtic. Bhoys fans have been using Twitter to discuss Scepovic's performance and goals, and a recurring theme is evident.

Many fans believe that Scepovic could be a real asset for Celtic if given the chance, and that Deila should look at his goalscoring ability rather than how much he runs - a key attribute in Celtic's pressing game.

The idea of Scepovic coming back to Celtic at the end of the season and proving people wrong was another common theme, but whether he gets that chance remains to be seen.

Other fans joked about how his record in La Liga is now superior to Gareth Bale's, whilst some weren't quite so impressed, citing that the chances he scored were simple ones.

Here are some of the reactions from Celtic fans following Stefan Scepovic's brace for Getafe against Las Palmas on Sunday...
