Sunderland fans react on Twitter to defeat to West Brom

Sunderland suffered a 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.

Sunderland fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the defeat to to West Bromwich Albion away from home on Saturday afternoon.

Sam Allardyce lost his first game in charge of the Black Cats, as West Brom won 1-0 at The Hawthorns.

Saido Berahino’s goal just nine minutes into the second half proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at The Hawthorns, visiting Sunderland had 43% of the possession, took nine shots of which just two were on target, and earned five corners.

The Black Cats are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment with just three points from nine matches, five points behind 17th-place Bournemouth.
