The Scottish defender came off injured in the 2-1 defeat.
Leeds United continued their recent poor form yesterday with a defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion picking up all three points from Elland Road.
Leeds' poor home form is now becoming a serious concern, as The Whites are without a win at their home ground since February.
They lost 2-1 yesterday, receiving a late sucker-punch after being in the game for most of the 90 minutes.
Leeds' goal came from Liam Cooper. The Scottish defender has seemingly won the battle with Giuseppe Bellusci to partner the Leeds captain Sol Bamba at the heart of the Leeds defence and with good reason based on the performances of the inconsistent Italian.
He was one of the few Leeds players to Tweet after the game, highlighting his disappointment in the result and thanking the fans for their unwavering support:
Thanks for the messages and support! You lot never let us down.Gutted to have come off.Have to stick together and bring 3 points back wed!— Liam Cooper (@LiamCooper__) October 17, 2015
It is clear now that Cooper and Leeds are looking forward to their trip to Fulham on Wednesday night. Leeds go into the game on the back of three straight defeats and are faltering in the league, sitting in 18th position, and no longer looking like a good outside bet for the play-off places.
Cooper looks unlikely to feature in that game after picking up a seemingly serious injury in the Brighton tie, so his team-mates will need to deliver.
