Rangers suffered a 2-1 loss to Birmingham at St. Andrew’s in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
A deflected strike from Matt Phillips saw QPR take the lead in the 17th minute, but just seven later Birmingham equalised through Paul Robinson's flying header from Demarai Gray's free kick.
The Blues went 2-1 up on 63 minutes when Paul Caddis found the target from the penalty spot after Clayton Donaldson was fouled by Nedum Onuoha.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. Andrew’s, visiting QPR had 56% of the possession, took eight shots of which four were on target, and earned two corners.
After the match, Rangers attacker Emmanuel-Thomas posted the following message on Twitter, with former QPR winger Andy Sinton expressing his disappointment at the final result on the social networking site Twitter.
