Wednesday played out a 1-1 draw with Hull at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Fernando Forestieri put the Owls in the lead just before the half-hour mark when he turned sharply and shot into the bottom corner.
Hull restored parity just six minutes into the second half when Abel Hernandez fired home following a fine double save by Keiren Westwood.
Hunt, who joined Wednesday on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Palace in the summer transfer window, took to Twitter after the match to give his reaction, and so did midfielder Alex Lopez, who moved to the Championship side from Spanish club Celta de Vigo on loan in the summer.
