Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor has taken to social networking site Twitter to assure the fans that he will return to action soon.
The 22-year-old missed Leeds’ Championship encounter against Brighton & Hove Albion at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon due to a viral infection.
The former England Under-19 international, who can also play as a left-winger, is doubtful for the league encounter against Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage on Wednesday.
Taylor has been one of the best players for Leeds so far this season and has been established himself in Uwe Rosler’s starting lineup.
The youngster has scored one goal and created seven chances in 10 Championship matches so far this campaign.
Taylor has a pass accuracy of 73% and a shot accuracy of 73%, and has won 11 headers, seven dribbles and 16 tackles.
