West Brom striker Rondon shows great control to catch Sunderland new boy Yedlin

West Brom The Hawthorns

Things would have been a bit nasty in Rondon didn't catch him, but thankfully for Yedlin he did!

It shouldn't really be a surprise that Premier League footballers are really, really strong – well some of them are, some need to hit the gym a bit more.

But one guy who definitely doesn't need to lift any more weights is West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon, as he proved during the Baggies' win over Sunderland.

After battling it out with Sunderland's American loanee DeAndre Yedlin, the big forward leaned forward and the Black Cats full-back went flying over his back, almost landing on his neck!

Thankfully for Yedlin, Rondon managed to grab hold of the American, spinning him round and placing him back on his feet before he really knew what had happened.

While he was very impressive with his catching technique, he could have done with some more luck in front of goal as he searches for his first effort since netting against Stoke City.

The 26-year-old will be hoping to get back to scoring ways when Tony Pulis' side look for their first back-to-back Premier League wins since September last year, when they take on Norwich City next Saturday.
