Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the defeat to Bristol City on Friday evening.
Forest were expected to win the Championship game at the Ashton Gate Stadium, but they slumped to a 2-0 loss.
City took the lead after just four minutes when Aaron Wilbraham’s deflected shot squeezed past Reds goalkeeper Dorus de Vries.
The 35-year-old doubled the home team’s advantage just seven minutes later, heading Derek Williams's left-wing cross into the corner.
Dougie Freedman’s side tried to launch a comeback in the second half, but they had to go home empty-handed.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Ashton Gate Stadium, hosts City had 47% of the possession, took 14 shots of which just seven were on target, and earned six corners.
Visiting Forest had 53% of the possession, took 18 shots of which five were on target, and earned 10 corners.
Forest fans took to Twitter to have their say on the performance of the team in the shock defeat to City.
