Palace will take on London rivals West Ham at Selhurst Park in the Premier League in a few hours’ time, and former Liverpool star Owen has backed the Eagles to pick up all three points.
“Both sides have made excellent starts to the season and the guys at Opta say that the last time Palace had more points than they have now in a top-flight season was back in 1990-91 when they went on to finish third,” the former Manchester United striker wrote on Betvictor.com.
“The Irons have yet to lose on the road this season but this is a very good Eagles’ side and I feel they can keep all three points.”
Palace are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 15 points from eight matches, just three points behind leaders Manchester City.
The Eagles will head into this afternoon’s game on the back of a 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at Selhurst Park in the league.
Meanwhile, West Ham currently find themselves sixth in the standings with 14 points from eight matches.
The Hammers have a good record away from home so far this campaign, and played out a 2-2 draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League before the international break.
