The Gers maintained their 100% record in the Scottish Championship with a narrow 2-1 win over the Queens at Ibrox in Glasgow.
Derek Lyle put the visitors in the lead in the 35th minute, but Jason Holt equalised from a tight angle just eight minutes into the second half.
Then in the final minutes of the encounter Martyn Waghorn found the target to secure all three points for Rangers.
Following the narrow, Rangers boss Warburton took to Twitter to praise his players’ character.
Lot of character shown by the players today, good to see them get the rewards at the final whistle— Mark Warburton (@MarkWarburton9) October 17, 2015
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox, hosts Rangers had 68% of the possession, took 23 shots of which eight were on target, and earned 13 corners.
