Tottenham and Liverpool played out a 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane today.
New Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp picked up a point in his first game in charge after a 0-0 draw away at Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.
With plenty of anticipation in the air, former Dortmund boss Klopp endured something of a quiet debut in the Premier League following a stalemate in North London.
Klopp was almost handed an ideal start to life in the Premier League after Divock Origi saw his header rattle the crossbar, and Hugo Lloris just shovelled the ball away from Martin Skrtel on the rebound.
Tottenham did eventually grow in to the game and Simon Mignolet was forced in to a superb save from Clinton N'Jie, whilst he also smartly stopped a low shot from Harry Kane too.
The second half was an equally close affair, though Emre Can almost won the game late on with a long range strike which whistled past Hugo Lloris in the Spurs goal.
Ultimately, a point was a fair result, giving Klopp as solid start and leaving Tottenham with just one Premier League defeat so far this season.
