Alan Pardew sums up Palace and West Ham's players in one word

Alan Pardew

The Crystal Palace boss was full of praise for both his side and former club West Ham.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has summed up both his players and those of former club West Ham United in one word, calling each side 'terrific.'

Indeed, West Ham beat Palace 3-1 at Selhurst Park but the spectacle was enjoyable for all, with each side also in form going into the game.

And Pardew says he has nothing but praise for the Eagles - and their east London opponents.

The Palace boss is right, of course. At the moment, there are few better sides than both Crystal Palace and West Ham in the Premier League.

Pardew's side came off second best against his old club but, this result - where they played a huge amount of minutes with just 10 men - aside, Palace have generally been very impressive indeed so far this term.

The south London side are still only two points off West Ham, although all credit to Slaven Bilic's men, who are back into the Premier League's top four places.

Next up for Bilic's side is a home clash against Chelsea, while Crystal Palace travel to Leicester City.
