Brighton & Hove Albion will face Leeds United at Elland Road in the Championship this afternoon.

Former Brighton & Hove Albion player Adam Virgo has taken to social networking site Twitter to hail the atmosphere of Leeds United’s home ground.

Ahead of this afternoon’s Championship game between Leeds and Brighton at Elland Road, Virgo, who also played for Celtic, Yeovil Town and Bristol Rovers, has posted the following message on Twitter:

Brighton will head into today’s game as favourites despite being the visiting team.

The Seagulls are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 22 points from 10 matches, two points ahead of Middlesbrough, who are second.

Leeds are having a wretched season at the moment and currently find themselves 16th in the standings with 11 points from 10 games, just three points above the relegation zone.

The West Yorkshire outfit have won one and lost three of their last four matches against Brighton at Elland Road, shipping two goals in each defeat.
