Tottenham youngster Kyle Walker-Peters impressed in an under-21 win over Norwich City.

Tottenham youngster Kyle Walker-Peters impressed as Tottenham Hotspur's under-21 side saw of Norwich City in a Thursday evening game.

Spurs won the game 3-2 with a late winner from Anton Walkes, with the game broadcast live on BT Sport, allowing supporters a closer look at the club's emerging talents.

Teenage full-back Walker-Peters played all 90 minutes, attacking from the very early stages, but it was two even more inexperienced players who opened the scoring for the home side.

16-year-old Keanen Bennetts scored on his debut, and Kyle Loft netted in the second half, making his first start at under-21 level, having feature as a substitute previously, before Walkes hit the deciding goal after Norwich had pegged them back.

Walker-Peters, 18, is an England youth international winning caps at under-18 and under-19 level.

Last night was his sixth Tottenham under-21 game of the season, and 19th of his career so far, with three assists to his name.

Competition for places at right-back makes it tough for him to break through, with the more recognisable Kyle Walker currently Tottenham's number one, backed up by summer signing Kieran Trippier, but all he can do is continue his upwards curve and make the most of any opportunities he is given.
