Adam Virgo reacts on Twitter to Joe Cole’s Coventry move

Adam Virgo suggests that Aston Villa-owned Joe Cole will help Newcastle United-owned Adam Armstrong score for Coventry City.

Former Celtic player Adam Virgo has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Joe Cole’s move from Aston Villa to Coventry City.

Cole will move to Coventry on a month's emergency loan deal from Premier League outfit Villa on Monday.

The former Chelsea and West Ham United attacking midfielder will remain at the League One outfit until November 22, as reported by BBC Sport.

It is a great coup from Coventry to sign a player who has won the Premier League title and the FA Cup three times each.

Former Celtic man Virgo is impressed with the deal done by Tony Mowbray’s side, who are fifth in the League One table at the moment.

The 32-year-old, who now works as a Football League expert for Channel 5, has suggested that Cole’s presence will help Newcastle United-owned forward Adam Armstrong score goals.

Armstrong has been in superb form so far this season for Coventry, having joined them on loan from Premier League side Newcastle in the summer transfer window.

The 18-year-old, who will remain at the Ricoh Arena until January 2016, will certainly learn a lot from Cole over the next few weeks.

The experience that Armstrong will get by working with Cole is only going to benefit him and Newcastle in the long run.
