The left-back has struggling with injuries throughout the start of the season.
During the international break West Ham played a behind-closed-doors friendly with Reading to give a run out to some of their less frequent first-teamers.
One such player was young defender Lewis Page.
The attacking left-back came on for summer signing Stephen Hendrie at half-time and got a good 45 minutes under his belt to try and impress his boss Slaven Bilic.
He picked up an injury in the Europa League against Astra Giurgiu earlier in the season and has only recently recovered from the problem.
He lasted the game and is a talent hopeful of eventually breaking into the West Ham first-team in the years to come.
Unfortunately for the 19-year-old it would appear that once again he is injured. He took to Twitter yesterday to post the following message:
Niggling injuries are the Bain of my life...— Lewis Page (@LewisPage3) October 14, 2015
Page has an uphill battle already to get in the West Ham first-team. Aaron Cresswell is an unshiftable starter in the left-back position and it would seem that Page is also behind Stephen Hendrie in the pecking order.
His injury troubles are not going to help him in his quest for first-team football at West Ham.
