Tottenham are reportedly keen on signing Sofiane Feghouli at the end of this season.
According to a report in Plaza Deportiva, Tottenham Hotspur have contacted the agent of Sofiane Feghouli concerning a potential move to White Hart Lane, when his deal expires at the end of this season.
Algeria captain Feghouli currently plays for Valencia, making 179 appearances since moving to the La Liga side in 2011. In that time, he has scored 28 goals and created 37 more, earning a reputation as a truly top class winger.
However, it appears as if his future lies away from Valencia, and the report claims that his agent has started sounding out potential moves for next summer, with his contract expiring at the end of this season.
The 25-year-old is able to sign a pre-contract in January, and this availability has seen Tottenham get in contact with Feghouli’s agent about confirming his signing in January.
However, there are a number of other sides who are hoping to sign the Algerian star, with the report claiming that Internazionale and Roma of Italy, and Fenerbahce of Turkey are also sending representatives to talk to the agent.
If a pre-contract is agreed, Spurs would be bringing in a truly top class player for free next summer, further strengthening their attacking ranks without splashing the cash on a big-money signing.
