Rangers have been in talks with John Eustace since the summer transfer window, and Mark Warburton has told a press conference that a deal to bring the midfielder on as a player should be confirmed in the coming days.

Eustace has been out of contract since this summer, having left Derby County after two years with the Championship club.
He has been linked with a move to Rangers for much of the summer, due to his links with Warburton - both were at Watford at the same time - but so far a deal has yet to be completed.
There were doubts about his fitness, and the 35-year-old has spent the following months training to prove he is good enough for the side. He now appears to be ready to sign, and Warburton is likely to announce a deal for Eustace in the coming days.
Following this news, Rangers star Rob Keirnan also told a press conference that he was delighted with the news, praising the experience of the midfielder - who was Watford captain when Kiernan was a youth player with the Hornets.
