Payet, Ogbonna and Moses will be key for West Ham against Palace

West Ham Upton Park

Crystal Palace and West Ham United go head-to-head this weekend.

West Ham United travel to Selhurst Park this weekend to take on Crystal Palace, and the Eagles will be well aware of the Hammers’ outstanding away form to date.

Slaven Bilic’s side have already defeated Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City but they will not be taking three points against Palace for granted.

West Ham will need to be at their best to overcome Alan Pardew’s side and here we take a look at three players who will be key for the Hammers:

Dimitri Payet

There are unlikely to be many matches this season when Frenchman Dimitri Payet does not prove to be a key player for West Ham.

The summer signing has been exceptional since arriving from Marseille and he has every chance of adding to his four goals and four assists this weekend.

Victor Moses

Victor Moses is another player who looks like he will be a great addition to Bilic’s side, albeit temporarily, and he will want to outperform the likes of Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha.

This is likely to be a very tight game and Moses’s pace and creativity could open things up if Palace focus too much of their attention on Payet.

Angelo Ogbonna

Another summer signing who has settled well, Angelo Ogbonna is fit to return this weekend and he looks set to play a vital role either at centre-back or at left-back with minor doubts about Winston Reid and Aaron Cresswell.
