The former coach and current pundit has been discussing the Leeds boss.
Ian Holloway says Uwe Rosler is going to concentrate on defending rather than attacking when Leeds United host Brighton at Elland Road this Saturday afternoon, according to his regular Sky Sports predictions column.
Indeed, the Yorkshire side have been in poor form of late and Holloway feels Rosler will 'simplify' things by giving each player more clarity with regards to their roles.
And that means a more defensive focus going into this weekend's clash.
Holloway told Sky Sports: "Uwe Rosler says he's going to 'simplify' things this week and that probably means he's going to try and sort out the back four by concentrating on defending rather than attacking.
"I totally understand what he means as he's trying to give the players clarity on their roles. Their poor defensive play cost them against Middlesbrough a few weeks ago."
It certainly sound like a sensible approach - but going forward has been just as much of an issue as defending for Leeds.
Yes, they have conceded cheap goals, especially against Middlesbrough and Birmingham City, but issues exist throughout this United side.
That said, building from the back is an obvious option. If Leeds can get the likes of Sol Bamba and Liam Cooper back to their most solid, while also utilising the energy levels of Charlie Taylor and Gaetano Berardi, their chances of getting that elusive first Elland Road win of the season will multiply instantly.
It'll be tough against Championship leaders Brighton, of course, but it's a good place to start rebuilding confidence.
