Atdhe Nuhiu believes Carlos Carvalhal is behind Sheffield Wednesday's good form

Sheffield Wednesday - The Owls

Sheffield Wednesday have won their last four matches in all competitions.

Sheffield Wednesday striker Atdhe Nuhiu has praised the job Carlos Carvalhal has done at Hillsborough on the club's official website

Wednesday have won their last four matches in all competitions and there is a growing sense of optimism sweeping around the club at the moment.

Nuhiu believes that the signings the Owls made in the summer transfer window have been excellent, and he also feels that Carvalhal deserves a lot of credit for his man-management.

“We brought a lot of new faces into the club and they look to be very good signings," he said. "With the type of head coach we have, he makes us believe and that’s why we are on this run.”

Nuhiu has been one of the main beneficiaries from Carvalhal's arrival at Wednesday, as the Portuguese boss is clearly an admirer of the target-man.

The Austrian forward has played in most of the Owls' matches so far this campaign, despite many of his teammates being rotated .

Nuhiu's form has repaid his manager's faith so far, too, as the striker has been a handful for most defences he has come up against.

The 26-year-old has scored three goals in 11 appearances, and he will be hoping to play a prominent role once again in Wednesday's next match, which comes against Hull City at the weekend.
