The Croatian has quickly become a Hammers fan favourite.

West Ham United winger Victor Moses has sung the praises of manager Slaven Bilic and claimed he has changed the philosophy of the club, in an interview with whufc.com.

The Croatian has been an instant hit at the Boleyn Ground, with the fans taking to his style of play and character off the field.

Gone are the days of long-ball football at the East End club, instead Bilic has them playing a vibrant yet well-drilled blend of counter-attacking football which has seem them take several major scalps already this season.

Moses - on a season-long loan from Chelsea - has settled in equally smoothly at West Ham and he has been impressed by what the manager is building at the club.

“I believe in the team and we have a good manager. I think we are going to surprise a lot of teams this season and will be up there,” said the 24-year old.

“Slaven is a top manager. He encourages you and gives you the right advice. He wants us to go out and enjoy our football. He wants me to do more as a player and help the team.

“He changed the philosophy of West Ham and everyone can see the difference. We are doing very well and we want to stick by him and do very well this season.”

The Hammers currently sit 6th place after eight games and will be confident of staying in and around that area for the majority of the season.

Impressive wins against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have proven they can mix it with the best in the division, and if home form starts to improve, Slaven Bilic’s men will become a real proposition.
