It all makes so much sense why Kevin Nolan goes everywhere Big Sam does.
Some footballers have a true relationship with their former managers – Ian Wright still calls Glenn Hoddle 'boss' and David Beckham is still like a trusty dog to Sir Alex Ferguson.
And some managers have a bit of a bromance going on with their players and just keep signing them, like Harry Redknapp and his love of signing Niko Kranjcar.
However, we reckon the bromance between Sam Allardyce and Kevin Nolan tops all other player-manager relationships by a long way.
The duo started working together when Big Sam gave Nolan a first-team chance back at Bolton Wanderers in the 1999-2000 Championship (then First Division) season.
Then the pair linked up as Big Sam brought West Ham United where he was made captain and now Nolan has been heavily linked with joining his former boss at Sunderland.
So what is going on between these two? Well, one Sunderland fan reckons it has to do with something Big Sam also brings to new clubs... his beloved printer.

It all makes so much sense now! We can't wait to see Nolan join the Black Cats and help out with all those Power Point presentation print outs Big Sam will be wanting.
