Two West Bromwich Albion Albion strikers with international aspirations were pictured in full training on Wednesday as the Premier League returns to action.
Both Saido Berahino and Rickie Lambert were overlooked by England boss Roy Hodgson for the final Euro 2016 qualifiers.
Berahino has been an England under-21 regular over the past year but is now aiming for the senior squad, but did himself no favours with his transfer window induced sulk at the start of the campaign. Since then he has begun to recapture his form and has been back on the scoresheet.
Lambert was part of the England squad for the 2014 World Cup, but his lack of football for Liverpool last season led to him being dropped for the Three Lions, and since moving to West Brom his form has not been up to scratch.
His window is closing, but for both players a call-up remains possible if they can have strong seasons this time around.
West Brom are 17th in the Premier League and face a huge fixture this weekend against Sam Allardyce's Sunderland. Having both Berahino and Lambert available will certainly help, with summer signing Salomon Rondon missing the training session as he was on his way back from his international exploits in South America with Venezuela.
