Leeds United goalkeeper Ross Turnbull is set to miss a sizeable chunk of the campaign through injury.
Leeds have confirmed that Turnbull has undergone surgery on his ankle, after breaking it in training earlier this week.
The experienced stopper is set to be ruled out for a prolonged period of time, and it leaves the Whites short of viable cover in goal.
Although Leeds do have Charlie Horton in reserve, the USA youth international is very inexperienced and is unlikely to push Marco Silvestri for a first-team place.
As a result, Leeds fans have reacted to Turnbull's injury by calling on the club to go out and sign Paul Robinson on a short-term deal.
Robinson made himself a hero at Elland Road with his performances earlier in his career - making 119 appearances between 1997 and 2004.
Although the England international is an ageing veteran now, he is currently a free agent after leaving Blackburn Rovers and Leeds supporters are hoping that Uwe Rosler will sanction a deal to bring him back.

@PhilHayYEP bring Paul Robinson in on a short term deal! Simple solution to that little problem if you ask me!— Nick Firth (@NickFirth1983) October 14, 2015

Feel for Ross Turnbull. Looked good in the one outing he's had for #LUFC so far. Keeper vacancy at club now surely means Paul Robinson...— James Marshment (@marshyleeds) October 14, 2015
