Promising West Ham United defender Josh Pask is poised to link up with Dagenham & Redbridge on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the proposed agreement.

The teenager penned a three-year professional contract with the Hammers in November 2014, announced by the club on their official website, and is considered to be a hot prospect for the future.

The East London outfit are famed for their production of home-grown talent, and their willingness to give academy graduates regular opportunities in the first team.

It is hoped that Pask will be a senior star of the future, but West Ham are eager to manage his development and nurture his potential in the right manner.
