Aston Villa should look to loan out these three players.
Premier League clubs may not be able to sign players right now, but Football League clubs can snap up players on loan - and Aston Villa have some players who may be of interest.
Tim Sherwood added a number of players to his squad over the summer, and sending some players out on loan would help bring the squad numbers down for now.
Here are three players who could leave Aston Villa on loan before the loan deadline for Football League clubs in November...
With few opportunities this season, it may be best for 21-year-old defender Kinsella to leave the club on loan. Jordan Amavi has the role locked down in Villa's first team, and with Kieran Richardson offering experienced cover, a move away for Kinsella may be best for his development. After a loan move to Luton Town last season, Kinsella may be ready for a move to League One club, just like his team-mates Jack Grealish and Callum Robinson did at Notts County and Preston North End previously.
Midfielder Gardner has come up through the ranks at Villa, but doesn't appear to be any nearer to first team football under Tim Sherwood. The 23-year-old thrived at Nottingham Forest last term, and another Championship loan spell could help Gardner find his best form and develop some more. His age means that he should be looking for first-team football now, and one final loan should help Villa decide whether he will make the grade or not.
Kozak arrived at Villa from Lazio in 2013 and was very highly-rated, but the Czech hitman has struggled with injuries throughout his time at Villa Park. The 26-year-old target man needs to play competitive football to get back to full fitness, and a move down to the Championship would let him do that. Kozak is another player whose Villa career needs to go one way or the other now, and a loan move would be able to show Villa what he can do with regular playing time.
