The German newspaper has stated that the 18-year-old is one of eight Reds players that the new boss will rely on.
German newspaper Bild has released a list of eight Liverpool players that it feels that new manager Jurgen Klopp will rely on, with the contingent surprisingly including teenage midfielder Jordan Rossiter.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach has taken over at Anfield following Brendan Rodgers’ dismissal and will be charged with leading the Merseyside club to a top-four finish this season.
Klopp has taken his first training session with his adopted squad and is preparing for this weekend’s Premier League clash against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
The newspaper has examined the current Liverpool group and listed a number of senior players that the new manager will rely on.
These include captain Jordan Henderson, goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and centre-half Martin Skrtel.
Others to make Bild's list include Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge, Christian Benteke and Klopp’s compatriot Emre Can.
Surprisingly, Rossiter has also been included as a player that Klopp can mould into a top professional, with the teenage midfielder identified as having the desirable traits to fit into the German trainer’s mould of high-energy football.
The 18-year-old is widely acknowledged as one of the most promising young stars coming through the Liverpool youth ranks, with high hopes that Rossiter can follow in the footsteps of someone like Steven Gerrard and become a hero at Anfield.
The England under-19 international got his first taste of Premier League football in Liverpool’s 0-0 draw against Arsenal earlier this season.
