David Moyes would leave Real Sociedad if he is offered the manager's job at Aston Villa, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
The Claret and Blues' poor start to the season has led to Tim Sherwood falling under pressure, and Villa are reportedly already looking for potential successors, should their form not improve.
Sherwood will be given more time to put things right at Villa Park, but with the side already four points away from safety there is a realisation that results need to improve quickly.
It is said that Villa will target Brendan Rodgers should they sack Sherwood, but Moyes remains another possibility.
The Scot is currently managing in La Liga, and he has rejected approaches to stay with Sociedad previously, but the Mail say he would return to the Premier League to manage Villa.
Sociedad have not made a particularly impressive start to their campaign, and Moyes feels that the job at Villa has the potential to be a very good one.
Villa are currently stationed in 18th place in the Premier League table, with Chelsea their opponents at the weekend.
