Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher may not be scoring too many goals in the Premier League at the moment, but he is firing on all cylinders for the Scotland national team.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers star scored as many as three goals in Scotland’s 6-0 victory over Gibraltar away from home on Sunday evening.
The 28-year-old found the target in the 52nd, 56th and 85th minute, with Derby County forward Chris Martin, Hull City attacker Shaun Maloney and Everton forward Steven Naismith scoring the other three goals at Estadio Algarve in Faro/Loule.
The win meant that Scotland finished fourth in the Euro 2016 qualifying Group D with 15 points from 10 matches, just three points behind the Republic of Ireland, who ended up third and have qualified for the playoffs.
Here are some of the best pictures from the match, including Fletcher trying a spectacular effort, West Bromwich Albion midfielder Darren Fletcher congratulating him on his hat-trick, and Naismith celebrating his goal.
