Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger have locked horns in the Champions League.

The Premier League may be unfamiliar to Jurgen Klopp, but the newly-appointed Liverpool manager knows one of the managers in the English top flight well.

The former Borussia Dortmund coach has locked horns with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger before - in the Champions League.

The German and the Frenchman have had no fewer than six competitive meetings - all of them in the group stage of Europe’s premier club competition.

The 48-year-old oversaw two wins for Dortmund against Arsenal, but the Bundesliga side lost three.

There was just one draw between the two teams, with Dortmund scoring six goals against the Gunners and conceding seven.

Wenger has the better record against Klopp, and perhaps the German has a point to prove. Maybe he will do just that in coming months.

Below are some of the best pictures of Wenger and Klopp during their meetings in the Champions League over the past few years.
