Here is how Leeds United’s under-21 side will line up against Watford this afternoon:
Leeds under-21 starting line-up: Peacock-Farrell, Coyle, Vann, Skelton, Denton, Purver, Lyman, Parkin, Walters, Stokes, Wilks
Leeds under-21 subs: Richardson, Taylor, Pearce, Oduor, Downing
Leeds United’s under-21 side travel to Watford this afternoon for their latest league clash, their first match since the 3-3 draw against Queens Park Rangers two weeks ago.
On that day Lee Erwin scored a brace for Leeds but the young Scottish striker has since headed out on a short-term loan to League One Bury, meaning it will be up to other players to score the goals for Paul Hart’s side.
Leeds’ youngsters have had a relatively good start to the season and are currently fourth in the Professional Development League Two Northern table but for all the goals they are scoring, they are also conceding plenty at the opposite end and that is something Hart will no doubt be working on in training.
Leeds have a number of exciting young players coming through the ranks right now and this is yet another chance for them to impress first-team manager Uwe Rosler from afar.
